Henri Boillot, Latricieres Chambertin Size:3x1.5L spice and sauvage hints very long and balanced spice and sauvage hints I underestimated this from cask as there is excellent purity of expression on the nose with a floral red fruit quality followed by remarkably detailed flavors of solid intensity if not necessarily great density with a purity and length that are impressive This is a Latricières of lace and grace yet the supporting tannins are fine but dense and should have no trouble seeing this through an extended aging curve There is a whiff of post bottling reduction that is just enough to push what appears to be ripe and clean fruit to the background
